I am sure this is really simple but for some reason I just cannot get this right.
I have a table showing sum(x) for each month, sum(x) YTD, and sum(x) FYTD. Easy.
I need to add the Total year sum(forecast_x) so that it will always show the full year total forecast, even if it is only halfway through the year.
I need to do the same for FY Total. I have tried the following which of course doesn't work and am simply stuck without a solution.
calculate(sum(forecast)x), filter(table, date=currentFY))
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Hi,
Share some data and show the expected result.
See below. The first column shows monthly budget, second is the cumulative budget over the fyear. The third column should always show the EOY budget, ie. 9,341,386.61

Hi Ashish
I just want help with the generic formula, I cannot share the file.
It should be a simple formula to calculate the whole year.
Try this
Measure = SUMX(ALL(Calendar[MontYear]),[Budget])
If this does not work, then i cannot hlp any further unless i see the file.
Hi Ashish
That doesnt work.
The table is above. If you assume that all I have is a table with Date and Sales Forecast, how do I calculate the Total Year out forecast?
Why would you need the Power BI file to help with this? The power BI file does NOT work so would be useless.
