hi, @jakaihammuda

try below

result =
 sumx(
   filter(
      all('tablename'),
      'tablename'[process column]<>"master" && 'tablename'[process column]<>"validation"

    ),
    [process run time]
  )

This looks like a measure totals problem. Very common. See my post about it here: https://community.powerbi.com/t5/DAX-Commands-and-Tips/Dealing-with-Measure-Totals/td-p/63376

Thank you for this! seems to have worked a treat 🙂

one more questyion, if i want to filter so its not "master" and also not "validation" how would i encorporate this into the DAX?

@Dangar332  - is thre a way to add something to say if the value is blank then replace with a 0?

hi, @jakaihammuda

simply add zero (0) at end of expression
like below

result =
 sumx(
   filter(
      all('tablename'),
      'tablename'[process column]<>"master" && 'tablename'[process column]<>"validation"

    ),
    [process run time]
  ) +0

Amazing thank you so much for this 😁
