Hello @Grace1
Compare the excel and power bi data or check are you applying any filter on the visuals.
There are filter on the matrix visuals but I not applying it , the filters are set as ALL currently.
Hi @Grace1 ,
Could you pls provide some data with expected output for a test?
It is hard to find a solution just by guessing..
Best Regards,
Kelly

Hi @Grace1 ,
Based on my test, after exporting data, the matrix table is converted to a normal, row and column category are different, that's why you see different total values:
You could try "Analyze in Excel":
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/collaborate-share/service-analyze-in-excel

@Grace1 , In case of export of data there limit of no of rows that can eexported. I think that is causing it . You can check the rows in table in power vs in excel
refer the limit -https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/visuals/power-bi-visualization-export-data#limitations-and...
one of the way to get all data is copy paste table from power bi to excel. Refer my video for that - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1_XlyzV-PcY
The rows in the table matrix power bi and excel are less than 1000 rows. Don't think is the limit of no of rows that cause the export different.
Would not prefer the above method to copy paste table from power bi to excel because
users do not have access to the query editor as the visuals are publish and user can only click on the Export data in the matrix table.
