Sum Cards with dynamic value

We are trying to sum up different cards with dynamic values and cannot figure out how to do so. We are wanting to be able to select different percentages for each category and it sum the totals on the left. Is there a way to do this without coding? Thanks for any help!

Did you find a solution to this problem?

I have a similar issue, I have values in some cards (with different filters applied to each) and I want to sum them together. Basically it is very similar to the issue here.

Hi

@Anonymous

Can you share some more insight on the model and the setup of the visuals?

Did you ever find a solution to your problem?

I have a similar issue, where I have the values against 3 cards (with different filters applied to each) and I wish to sum them together. Basically it is very similar to the issue here.

Hi @ktaylorBHS,

If I understand correctly you want to select the percentages in the right and add those values to.the cards on the left, so if you have the 1st number 5.73k and select 50% you want to have 5.73k +( 5.73k*0.50).

You need to make somethong.like this:

Measure = Measure *1+min(table[percentage])

I am wanting to add all the cards on the left. For example, I could select 30% on the first card, 20% on the second, etc and then be able to sum them all up and the number be dynamic that way if I wanted to change the percentage on the first one, it would change the total. Does that make sense? Not sure if that is even a possibility. Thank you for the help!

How are you getting the values on the cards? Is it a measure or do calculate it directly from a column in your data?

It is from a column on an Excel spreadsheet.

Hi @ktaylorBHS,

Whta's the visual you used?

>>For example, I could select 30% on the first card, 20% on the second, etc and then be able to sum them all up and the number be dynamic that way if I wanted to change the percentage on the first one, it would change the total.

If we create slicer visual, we can filter the table by clicking special value on it. For your requirement, how to select the 30% on the first, 20% on the second? Do you mind share your .pbix file for further analysis?

Thanks,
Angelia
