Hi, Is there any calculation that I can do in a matrix table that would allow me to subtract one value in a column by another value in the same column?
I have attempted to do here but the values don't change:
(if(apps[curr_month] = "Yes" && 'apps'[app_cat] = "YTL", 'apps'[amount]
-
if(apps[curr_month] = "Yes" && 'apps'[app_cat] = "INT", 'apps'[amount]
Example current output
App_cat Jan
YTL. 40000
INT. 100000
Output I'm trying to achieve. The INT value takes the 10000 from the above table and subtracts the value for YTL.
App_cat Jan
YTL. 40000
INT. 60000
Hi,
Assuming Amount is a measure that you have already written, write this measure
Measure = [Amount]-calculate([Amount],'apps'[app_cat]="YTL")
Thanks for your suggestion. I have tried this measure but all that seems to happen is my value for "YTL" returns a 0.
You are welcome. What happens to the INT value?
The same value remains, 100000.
