Hello,
I have a dynamic date selector. I have 2 measures (YTD and LAST YEAR YTD). These 2 measure show correct sales numbers based on date selection. However, I cannot find the correct measure to correctly subtract YTD from Last Year YTD. Any help will be appreciated. A simple measure of Measure#1 (minus) Measure#2 does not give me the correct result.
MEASURE #1
SALES CURRENT YTD =
SUM('SALES'[SALES AMOUNT])
MEASURE #2
SALES LAST YEAR YTD =
CALCULATE(
SUM('SALES'[SALES AMOUNT]),
SAMEPERIODLASTYEAR('Calendar'[Date]), 'Calendar'[Date] <= date(year(today()), month(today())-12, day(today()))
)
