Stumped by differences when applying mutually exclusive slicer

Hello!

I can not for the life of me figure out what's going on. I think it's something to do with filtering / row context but I'm fairly new and don't fully understand the details of that.

Context

  • I have a data set which has a column called "Lead Status".
  • Lead Status can be a few things like "Open", "Disqualified" etc.
  • A lead can only have a single lead status. So a lead can't have status' of Open and Qualified etc.
  • A lead in this context is any row in my data set
  • From the lead status column, I have created several measures which aim to surface quickly the amount of leads which have a particular status - example query is below - filtering most lead status things like this.

The problem

  • When filtering by Lead Status, the numbers in a set of callout cards and in a table, don't seem to match up.
For example, when filtering in a slicer by Lead Status = Qualified AND Lead Status = Open (which should show 0 as no lead can be both) - some leads are still showing up.
I know the queries are fine because my excel export table which just lists the details, that filters perfectly, it's just my numbers which don't add up.
Have attached a video showing what I mean exactly.

@Anonymous , Based on what I got, this is because you are not using filter in calculate

calculate([Meausre], filter(Table, Table[Lead Status] in {"Qualified", "Open"} ))

CALCULATE with and without FILTER?  https://youtu.be/Wfr1Wh5SxwM?t=4674
