Hi @Max00713,
Thanks for the update.
I understand that you see the filtered data in Table View within Power BI Desktop. However, please note that filtering in Table View only affects how data is displayed it does not modify the underlying data model, which is why the full dataset is still being copied when using the Copy Table option.
Instead of using Copy Table, try using "Export Data" on a visual. To do this, create a table or matrix visual in your report, apply the necessary filters, then right-click on the visual and select "Export Data." This ensures that only the filtered rows are exported.
I trust this information proves useful. If it does, kindly Accept it as a solution and give it a 'Kudos' to help others locate it easily.
Thank you.
Thank you for your response. It was a case of a larger dataset.
However, I tried filtering the columns and selecting only a few lines to check whether the export option was working. I could see that my data was filtered in the Table view, but when I tried using the copy table option, the full dataset was copied, regardless of the filtering.

Hello @Max00713 ,
it's either you're trying to export a huge amount of data or there's some sort of a bug.
try getting the power bi latest version or you can open an issue in the issues section and Microsoft support will check it https://community.fabric.microsoft.com/t5/Issues/idb-p/Issues
