Hi all,
I've noticed that the What if parameter has a strange behaviour with large numbers.
I'm not doing anything dificult or strange.
1.- Create a What if parameter that represents a big series. Let's say from 0 to 10,000 separated by 1.
GENERATESERIES( 0 ; 10000 ; 1)
2.- I take of the slicer because I want to put the number directly in the box.
3.- And here it comes, when I put 242, PBI rounds the number and shows 240. If I put 246 it shows 250... and so on.
Is this normal, and it's something that I don't know about parameters what if ? If so, how can I fix it?
Can you reproduce the behaviour as well?
Thank you for your help!!

hi, @luxpbi
This is a known limitation with parameters with very large ranges. We have an item to fix this on our backlog but no ETA at the moment.
Best Regards,
Lin

Hi @v-lili6-msft,
Thanks for your response, what is the maximum range not affected by this limitation?
I think that with this limitations, parameters are not useful at all.

hi, @luxpbi
After my test, the maximum range may be 2500, and Microsoft has received feedback but no ETA at the moment.
Could you please tell me if your problem has been solved? If it is, could you please mark the helpful replies as Answered?
Best Regards,
Lin
The maximum range is much lower with 2400 it doen't work well for me...
My problem is not solved but you answered my question very good. I mark your answer as accepted.
