Hello all,
I get a stock file in excel everyday. The data comes in it everyday for rolling 5 days. The data for the previous days i.e the days before the 5 rolling days is washed out.
For eg: On 9th sep the data comes for 5,6,7,8 and 9 sep. On 10th sep the data comes for 6,7,8,9 & 10 sep.
Now I want to keep the stock data for all days at one place. Can I store it in Power BI by using some method?
Hi @Anonymous,
If you want to show the data for rolling five days in Power BI, you could use Related date filtering under visual/page/report level filter like below and set it with in the last 5 days.
Then it will show the data last 5 days.
Best Regards,
Cherry
Hey @v-piga-msft,
I want to store the historical data in Power BI. The transaction file will keep changing everyday, but I want to keep he previous data stored at a place for my use. Can that be done?
Hi @Anonymous,
As I know, we could import the data to Power BI and store the data model in pbix.
If you want to refresh the data everyday, you also could set scedule refresh in Power BI Service.
Best Regards,
Cherry
