Standard Deviation Error Bars Data Order

Hello,

I have an IF statement to filter three columns of data from a larger dataset, and they are written to be BLANK () if the filters find no data and rows are empty. The data transforms are identical for all three columns.

When I visualize these data as averages with error bars type "Standard Deviation", the error bars will show as zero values when no data is present, but ONLY for the first data set in the list of Y-axis data for the plot. Below is the same plot with the Y-axis inputs in two different orders (BCA and CBA).

Does anyone have an idea about what's going on here?

Thanks!

Hi @Anonymous ,

Based on the information you provided, here is what I tried in Power BI Desktop.

When I change the order of the Y-axis to CBA, the image displayed looks like this.

But when I turn into BCA, its image becomes like this.

It seems that if it is simple data it is able to swap positions to show different visualization interfaces, so I think the problem may be with your IF statement, if you can provide me with the relevant pbix file or more data and information I can provide further research.
