Stacking excel data from folder

Hello,

I want to be able to pull data from a folder, have all the excel files in the folder stack in power bi, due to their relationships and creating a date hierarchy.

Is there a way to have the newest file be pulled and edited appropriately via the queryeditor or  does it need to be done manually each time and stack this data all together?

Thank you

Hi @Anonymous,

If you go to the connections options and select From folder then jus select the file you want to edit.

This will create a function that will allow you to make all the changes on your base file that will be repetead on all the files and an append of the files.

So you just need to had the files to the folder and after the refresh the data will be stacked with all files.
