Stacked Bar graph - no colour option with a legend or multiple values

Hi

Has anyone had any issues changing the colour on the stacked bar graph when a legend or multiple values are added? I used to have the option under the format section but now it just shows like this:

This is what it should look like and what I see when there is only one value and no legends:

Any help is appreciated! I've been working around by changing it to a pie graph and changing the colours there then added it back as a stacked bar then putting the X-axis back in. It's not ideal and occasionally doesn't work, I'm positive I was able to change the colour easily a few months ago.

Thanks!

Hi @Anonymous

If you are using multiple value in X Axis, then you can color based on multiple value in X Axis. It will works same like Legend. For testing purpose, keep one field in X Axis and Legend, you can easily change color as per legend.

If you are using multiple value in X Axis and also one filed in Legend, color can be turn off.

If possible, please create a sample PBIX to reproduce the issue and share the link (google drive/dropbox/onedrive).

Let me know if that works for you

Thanks ! So this is a mock of two scenarios. I don't think I explained this well. So both of the graphs have the Date as the x-axis, one has only one value and a legend and the other option is 3 values.

@Anonymous ,

Conditional formatting won't be possible if you are using values in legend.
