Hi,
I'm currently working with a dataset that uses one POL field/column for updates. The newest update will be added first with the update date then the update itself. There's usually a new line character added after every update but Power BI doesn't recognise this when importing the data.
Is there a way to split this column before the 2nd date to only keep the first update? The field data would look something like this:
24/12/23 Update 1 1/1/24 Update 2 12/2/24
I've tried looking at using wildcards but this doesn't look like Power BI utilises them.

Hi, @Chantine
You can try the following methods.
Split Column-Enter a space-Left-most delimiter:
Result:
Is this the result you expect?

Hi z-zhangti,
Thank you for replying.
Unfortunately not quite! The desired output from my example data would be to have '24/12/23 Update 1' seperated out.
