Sorting of alphanumeric column in Matrix table

Hi Team,

 I am trying to sort alphanumeric column but its not working as expected. 

its appearing as 

1,10,11,12,2,3........I want in numerical order. I tried by spliting numeric part as separate column and sort it but I not working as I need to show text and number as single column.

 

Please advise if anyone has idea..Really appreciate your help!!

Hi @Anonymous 
I have created new column from example feature of power query to extract numbers from the column  and
sorting the column used in the martix by new column
may be this can solve issue.

Hi @techies  I have tried this customer column but as soon as I merge this column with word "Sprint" like Sprint 1,Sprint 10..it become text value and sorting goes as before as per text sorting as shown before in matrix table..NO luck yet...

Hi @Anonymous yes, pls convert to whole numbers and then sort by this new column

Hi! You can create a dim table to hold you're sorting order. Just put your sprints in one column and the sorting order in another. Then join to your table on sprint, but make sure you have sprint from the dim table sorted by the sort order column.

@audreygerred   I can create dim tabel but Sprint can be of any numbers so I cant define specific number of sprint in one column.. It shoudl work dynamically for any number of Sprint...Plz advise if it can work for dynamically
