Sorting of Week in DateDim with several years

Hi!

I have an date dimension with rows worth of several years. My users would like to have an date hierarchy from Year to Week, but I have challenges sorting my Week numbers having them in the order of several years.

Error now occurs in an line chart.

@Anonymous how you are showing week numbers? You should include year in week number column and that will take care of it.

Hi @parry2k . Like this

@Anonymous ,

I'm afraud you need to create an additional "WeekNum" column manually because dax can't generate the WeekNum automatically by date.

@Anonymous i think you need to sort value in visual, click top right corner (3 dots) on visual and make sure sort is by week and it is a to z.

Still doesn't work.. The formula I used is:

Weeknum = YEAR([date]) &  format(WEEKNUM ( [Date] );"00")

It's currently default sorted.Capture.PNG

@Anonymous ,

Format() function will return text, not number, change the weeknum from text to number and check if it can work.
