Hi everyone,
I'm 100% green to Power BI so apologies if I'm asking something obvoius.
Anyway as title says, I'm trying to order a chart by month (using a secondary coloumn with months numbers).
I've read that I just need to order that column in query editor (just clicking on the down arrow on the column name)
but once I click "Apply" nothing changes in my charts. Am I going the wrong way about it?
Many thanks in advance
Solved! Go to Solution.
You need to set up your sort-by column after you load the data (not in the query editor).

You have to create a new calculated column for month number. Then click the month name column and sort it by month number calculated column.
If I answered your question, kindly mark it as solution.
Thanks,
GS
