Sort Matrix by column total and row totals

Hello Everyone.

I have the Matrix table below.

I am able to sort ascending for row totals I would like to sort the column total decending in order for the first column to total 2557 and the first row 1. Second column 2003 and second row 3 and so on.

How can this be achieved?

Thank you in advance,

Mike

@Mike22,

You can create a conditional column  in Query Editor which defines sort orders for the field you drag to Columns section of the Matrix visual. Then click the field in your table, choose "Sort by column" to sort the field by the conditional column. There is an example for your reference.

Thanks for the reply Lydia,

Unfortunately this does not work as when the user changes the filters and the value change the order does not. Is there any way it is only the totals which are considered for sorting? Exactly how it happens in the row totals.

Thanks,

@Mike22,

There is no built-in sort option for the row totals in Matrix, please vote up the following idea about this issue.
