on a page I have a pie chart, a map and a grid.
When a I select a bubble on the map the grid gets filtered on those records only.
but when I select a slice in the pie chart the grid does not get filtered.
What could explain that behaviour?
The dimension in the pie chart is a group. I noticed that I when replace the group by the underlying dimension then the filtering works. Can't we use groups for filtering visualizations?
Does that mean I can't use groups and need to create the "group column" in my query instead?

Hi @osinquinvdm,
According to your description above, I have tried to reproduce the issue with the latest version of Power BI Desktop. However, it turns out that I can filter on groups, and I was not able to reproduce the issue.

forget my comment (or not).
After I removed the base dimension and put the group back, it suddenly started to work as expected.
I probably ran into a weird bug...
