Slowly changing dimention

In my client company mrp will change with time and i need to show historical value and present value both. 
Dimention table that having mrp.

product code	start date	end date	mrp	status	index
1234	12/2/2022	12/5/2022	54	No	1
1234	12/6/2022	12/7/2022	56	N0	2
1234	13/7/2022		58	YES	3

fact table 

Product code	venderid	date	quantity	state	city
1234	23	24/3/2022	12	AP	Guntur
1234	23	24/6/2022	10	KA	Bengaluru
1243	12	24/3/2022	10	KA	Ballari
1243	12	23/6/2022	12	maharastra	mumbai
1212	11	23/5/2022	10	panjab	Haryana

How can I get mrp from dimention table to fact table. If any one know solution kindly help me. Thanks in Advance.

you could merge the two tables and get the column from the first table into the second.
