Slowly changing dimention
In my client company mrp will change with time and i need to show historical value and present value both.
Dimention table that having mrp.
| product code | start date | end date | mrp | status | index |
| 1234 | 12/2/2022 | 12/5/2022 | 54 | No | 1 |
| 1234 | 12/6/2022 | 12/7/2022 | 56 | N0 | 2 |

fact table

How can I get mrp from dimention table to fact table. If any one know solution kindly help me. Thanks in Advance.

you could merge the two tables and get the column from the first table into the second.
