Slicers to update all my visuals/graphs/calculations

hello, I'm fairly new to PowerBI, so please ignore my ingorance if this is simple.

background

I have several tables on my powerbi, all my tables have L2, L3 and Reporting period data items, then the revelant data needed within that table.

please note - my L2,L3 and Reporting Period are not unique values.

My issue

when i'm creating a slicer, it's only updating the visuals from 1 table and not all of them, could you please explain what I need to make the slicer work on all the visuals when selecting choices on the slicer.

Thanks in advance

Hi @stebro1986,

Can you please share some dummy data that keep the raw data structure and relationship mapping? They should help us clarify your scenario and test.

Hi @stebro1986,

I assume that the slicers you refer to are columns on each table that have similar columns on the other tables correct?

In this case you need to create dimension tables with the values of the columns you need and then make a relationship between that table and the ones in your model.

If you then use that new table on your slicer everything will flow to the visualizations
