We have thousands of Sales transactions that have been summarized into total sales by item. We added a slicer to the summarized sales column and are trying to search in the slicer for sales equal to or less than a value (=<$500).
It doesn't seem to be working properly and I am wondering if we are going about it the right way or if the slicer is really built for this functionality.
Does anyone have any insight on this?

Hi @DarylM,
For your requriement, you'd better use the filter to search in the slicer for sales equal to or less than a special value. I try to reproduce your scenario and get desired result as follows.
I create the sample data table.
Then create a table, select the item and sum value as row level. You will get the following screenshot. The total value is summarized by item.
Finally, you add the special value in the filter highlighted in red line. The table will be filtered, it only return the rows which equals to or less than the value.
If this is not what you want, please post the sample data for further analysis.
Best Regards,
Angelia

Thank you!
Hi Dary
maybe you can use the Level Filters (Page or Visual) instead of a slicer. If i work with revenue filter then i use these ones instead of a slicer.
