Hi all,
I have a list of people that I am using as a slicer for some visuals:
| Person | Group |
| Jim | None |
| Bob | None |
| Susan | None |
| Fred | None |
| Mo | None |
| Greg | None |
| Lucy | Reporter |
| Sandra | Reporter |
| Abid | Reporter |
| Nadia | Reporter |
| Tom | None |
This is a standalone table that is to be linked to a table called VizData. What I want to do is to have all the individual entries in the 'Person' column as selectable slicers, but also for users to be able to select the 'Reporter' group and see Lucy, Sandra, etc. as an amalgamated group (but still be able to select the four in the 'Reporter' group as an individual if they wish). I do not need to create a 'None' group.
I'm struggling to work out how to do this - can anyone suggest a method?
TIA,
SamB

@Anonymous,
You may add two Slicers for each column or use HierarchySlicer.

Hi,
I didn't know about the hierarchy slicer - does exactly what I was after. Many thanks!
Sam
