Slicer - values repeating

Hello,

I have a data set that has Version column containing Actuals, Forecast. When i try to use these in a slicer, it shows the values repeated. Shoudn't the slicer be showing unique values? This is happening for one particular data set and not in others that have Versions in them. Could it be a Power BI bug or some thing else. Please provide pointers.

I've had this issue due to spaces either before or after the values. Try replacing the values to make sure they're all consistent.

Thanks for your responses.

Somehow when i changed the query for another reason, it removed this problem. Looks like i cannot repro it either. So, closing the issue.

Just as an observation, even when I did Trim on the column, the values were repeated.

Hi @hmokkapati,

Since I can’t reproduce your issue, can you share a sample to reproduce your issue and provide some detail information?(e.g. power bi desktop version, column type and sample data, data source,…)

Below is my test steps(test on Version: 2.39.4526.362 64-bit (September 2016)):

 

In addition, you can also try to use the newest desktop to test again.
