Hi community,
I have a report which consists of multiple pages. The first page is used to filter the results of the following pages.
I duplicated a page and now, instead of taking the selected values of the "first" page, it stays with the slicer values, that were active during the time it was duplicated. Even worse, now, after opening that page, the slicer on the "first" page is reset to said legacy values.
Anyone has an idea how to fix this? Help is greatly appreciated.
Hi @Anonymous ,
If you try disabling SYNC between your slicers on the duplicated page, it should resolve your issue.
Thanks,
Pragati
hey @Pragati11 , would you please specify which slicers you mean?
The one on my "first" page is synced to the original one, as well as to the duplicate, but I guess that should be the case, since I use it for filtering?
also the original page has messed up slicers now
Hi @Anonymous ,
By SLICERS, I mean the slicer visuals that you use for filtering.
Can you add some scheenshots here around how your slicers are messed up? It's hard to understand the issue.
Thanks,
Pragati
@Pragati11 So I have drop down fields as follows:
Before I duplicated, the values that I chose there, would appear as follows in my graph (Slicers and filters affecting the visual):
Now after duplicating, whatever I put into the drop down, doesn't change the visual. It is stuck on this value. And if I visit the visual and then go back to the dropdown, it jumps back to that value too.
Hi @Anonymous ,
The screesnshot in your last message doesn't help much.
Try sharing your pbix file if possible and description around the issue.
Thanks,
Pragati
@Anonymous , you slicer might be sync'ed check with option and un sync them
