Hi experts
I have the following table:
| Category_sells | Category_expected | Item | Sales | Sales_expected |
| Makeup | Clothes | A | 10 | 40 |
| Clothes | Skincare | B | 20 | 50 |
| Skincare | Makeup | C | 30 | 60 |
I need a slicer that filters "Category_sells", and shows me on a matrix the "Item" column and "Sales_expected" measure filtering its equivalent value in "Category_expected". So, when I filter Category_sells as "Makeup", this should be my output:
| Item | Sales_expected |
| C | 60 |
I have already created a measure for Sales_expected, using calculate when Category_expected = selectedvalue(Category_sells) and this works fine. Neverthless, I have a problem showing the "C" item, because I don't want this column to be filter by "Category_sells" but do be filtered by its equivalent in Category_expected
I can't hide this interaction on the matrix because I need it to build the "Sales_expected" filtered value using the selected slicer.
Any advice on this would be highly appreciated. Thanks
Hi, @Smackcat
You can try the following methods.
New Table:
Slicer = VALUES('Table'[Category_sells])Measure =
IF ( SELECTEDVALUE ( Slicer[Category_sells] ) = BLANK (),
1,
IF ( SELECTEDVALUE ( 'Slicer'[Category_sells] )
= SELECTEDVALUE ( 'Table'[Category_expected] ),
1,
0
)
)
Put measure in the filtered view and set equal to 1.
Is this the result you expect?
