in power bi slicer i have 5 choices and i want to make this slicer and single select and i already achieved this, but now i want one choice to be always selected and the user choose only one selection from other 4 choices?
so lets say i have (A,B,C,D,E,F) in same column.
so i want A to be always selected and user choose from the rest.....any ideas?!
Solved! Go to Solution.
Use a disconnected slicer table with values B–F, set to single select, and hardcode “A” into your DAX logic so it's always included. This way, users can only pick one extra value, and “A” stays selected behind the scenes

Hi @Maximous89
In the Slicer setting, please select Single Select
Select the A and publish the report. Once the user opens the report, they can always see the A selected as you publish this selection.

yes, but then how they can select A and B or A and C, it's single select not multi select, so i want user to found A always selected and choose single select from B,C,D,E,F....
