Hello, what is the path of least resistance to change month names in the slicer buttons so they go in the right order, October, November, December (this dashboard will only have one years worth of data)?
Could I bring in month numbers in the background but not show it? I don't want a slicer hierarchy.
Or something similar to Excel's custom lists that lets you arrange labels in whatever order you want. Thank you

You mean here? It seems to work but I never realized the top (exhibit or report) layer in Power BI honors the order in which data is presented in the table view.... interesting. Thank you so much!!!!
Yes, bring in the month number, then sort the text column using the month number.
Matt, so how do I sort by the numbers but not show them in the slicer, where I circled?
