Slicer - Multiselect

Good Evening All,

A quick question from a PowerBI novice.

I have a two slicers that are a filter for a variety of different projects. Slicer 1 drills down by projects in a specific location. Slicer 2 drills down to which team the project is in.

The data that is shown on my dashboard are ID numbers of projects, descriptions, RAG status and financials.

When I select an area, it shows all the IDs, RAGs, Descriptions but only one financial table (as that is all that is possible).

Is there a way when I select the overall area, no financials are shown (or even better a total of all the projects budgets). Then when you select an individual project it shows the specific financials?

Many thanks,

Tom

If I understand correctly, there are two slicers: Location and Team

If so, then you can take a look at the ISFILTERED or HASONEVALUE functions and combine with IF to display the totals or even specifics.

Something like:

measure = IF(ISFILTERED([Team]),

    // show specifics

    // show blanks or total
)
