Hi,
I'm having a problem with Slicer visual. The problem doesn't make much sense in my opinion.
I was trying to create a dynamically slicer for Consultants that they can adjust prices about commodities to see the gross margin for your clients.
In this process, I created a table with specific prices for each commodity. So I started with soybean and corn. Soybean with prices that comes 0 to 180.00, and corn 'til 100.00, cuz these commodities have a huge difference in prices.
Also, I was creating the visualization with a comm filter to select previously just one, then the slicers brings the values just from that unique comm.
So, if I filter Soybean, the slices comes between 0 to 180, and if I select corn, brings 0 to 100
Using the visual slicer, I got this result when I use the "Dropdown" style, but I wanna use "Less than or equal to", and then the filter wasn't respected.
Dropdown:
Less or Equals to:
Is it correct or a bug from this visual? Someone already had a problem like that?
And database is like that:
Solved! Go to Solution.
Eliminate the slicer. Use the Filter Pane instead. It allows for the advanced filtering you are looking for, and it frees up screen real estate.
The simplest method is to use the filter pane but if you want it done via a visual, try Filter by PowerViz https://appsource.microsoft.com/en-us/product/power-bi-visuals/truvizinc1674781244292.filter-by-powe...
