Hello,
When using the conditional formatting for color on the Select All selection, the color changes to the same color of Filed even though i have a rule for If rule is Deselect All then grey. How can I get the color i want after the Select All button has been selected?
Hi @lipster26 ,
Thanks for @Ritaf1983 reply, that's really helpful!
@lipster26 I've reproduced the problem, and I think it might be a bug of new Slicer. When all options are selected, "Select all" is automatically selected, as with the old Slicer, but new Slicer uses the color of the first option as the fill color. I recommend that you submit this question here Microsoft Fabric Support and Status | Microsoft Fabric, and I will update the status on this issue here as well.
Best regards,
Mengmeng Li
Hi @lipster26
If I understand you correctly, you’re referring to the confusion caused by the fact that the color of "Deselect All" is identical to the color of the first button. Unfortunately, there is no way to set a different color for it because there is no way to access the settings for that button separately.
Please post it as the idea here:
https://ideas.fabric.microsoft.com/
The only possible solution is to have everything in white or another color you choose until you start clicking on the buttons and leave "Select All" in white (or any other color you want as the default)
I have attached a PBIX file with my example in case it can help.
If my answer was helpful please give me a Kudos and accept as a Solution.
The default settings when not selected is set to white:
If i select each individual item they will turn the color that was chosen.
But once i click on Select all, it will change to Deselect all and the color will be the same as the same item. I would like Deselect all to still be white:
Hi again @lipster26 🙂
Thank you for adding details, but unfortunately, it doesn't change the fact that the "Deselect All" button is the same color as the one you set for the first button. Please note the response from @Anonymous who explained that this is likely a bug and referred you to a link with reporting. guidelines.
