Slicer - Behaviour if nothing is selected

Dear community,

I've created a field parameter with several field to allow to change of the appearance of a table.

The field parameter is added to a slicer - Multi Select allowed.

Now I see two different behaviours in different reports:

   1) If no element in the slicer is selected, only one line with the totals of the table is displayed.  (this is only in one report)

   2) If no element in the slicer is selected all fields with all combinations are displayed --> same behaviour as all Elements are selected.

The thing is, i've no idea how to change the settings to see my prefered behaviour 1)

It doesn't matter if the I choose Slicer, Slicer (new) or Chiclet slicer

Sure I can filter with measure isselected..., but then i don't see the total or have to add a second table with only the total..... I want the easy solution .

Any Idea??

thanks

Hi amitchandak,

I know. The more interesting thing is, why both slicers behave different in case nothing is selected. Seems like a bug but unfortunately I think, the version 1) described in my first post is the buggy but 😞

@Florian_Kluge , Isfiltered can help in such cases. But We can not change column/group by behavior using isfiltered , we can get a measure modified but can hide columns.
