Slicer Adding Values to List

I have a slicer with a slider on a whole number column. This column should be a unique integer for weeks in a year (i.e  201801 - 201852, 201901 - 201952). Only the correct values are in my dataset. The slicer appears to be adding in the numbers between (201853, 201854, 201900, etc.). I'm assuming it is doing this to make the number continous number but it is confusing to the user to be able to select a week that doesn't exist. 

I've tried the suggestion of adding a hidden slicer that interacts with my primary slicer but it did not work.

Can this action be stopped or is there a better way to filter between two integers?

@Anonymous instead of converting it to text, a slicer using as a list/dropdown will work, no need for the conversion. That would be the alternate solution if I have to suggest one.

@kevinbrad06 as mentioned previously, unfortunately, you cannot control it, it will give you each value regardless if that value exists in the table or not.

@Anonymous very specifically mentioned when using SLIDER otherwise there will not be an issue if it is a list is used for the slicer.

@Anonymous if the value is made a text then it cannot be used as a slider and that's what the original problem described by @kevinbrad06

I think he just wanted to list values which exist, it should not matter if its numeric or text...

@parry2k is correct. I would like to show as a slider. The column selected is part of my dataset.

Got it, but my point is to suugest an alternate  as You cant show it as part of slider like that.

Are you adding slicer on the column in your dataset? Are you saying even the values are not available it shows it in slicer?

Can you please try converting the Value to text?

@kevinbrad06 I don't think you have the choice to control the slider range, it will give you a continuous number regardless if that data exists in the table or not.
