Hi ,
I would need your help, please regarding a model (or a dataset) size display difference between SSMS and DAX Studio tools ?
A) If I access an Azure Ananalysis Service server,
-Via SSMS, then I select a model I observe an estimated size of 0.53 Mb
-On the other hand DaxStudio will show me a total size of 222.29 Kb
B) Same differences on an open power bi desktop model
- Via SSMS , I observe an estimated size of 0.59 Mb
- By cons DaxStudio will show me a total size of 5.24 Mb
I can't explain myself, please these sizes differences
I also see that in service, on storage location of my work space, then my dataset (iso data) is presented with an even different size ;>)
"merci beaucoup" for any help/advise
Regards
Christopher

Hi, @Bamak
The model size is different in different tools because the tools used to calculate the model size calculate by different standards. About what makes up a Power BI Desktop pbix file, I'd like to suggest you refer to the document .
