Hi,
i have another problem.
I have a long list which will go into into a dropdown slicer.
It is important that the user is only able to select only the lowest datapoints inside the hierarchy AND only Single select them.
In this case the user should only be able to select fam1, fam2 or fam3.
In the Hierarchy Slicer (custom visual) it is possible, but because my list is so long, i want it to show up in a dropdown menu.
Is this somehow possible?
greetings
elaj

Hi @elaj,
So you meant you want the dropdown slicer show the hierarchy layout in the dropdown panel? If that is the case, it is impossible. Please submit an idea for improving the slicer features.

To solve this problem i took the hierarchy slicer and set the option Leafes only and i built a fake dropdown with bookmarks with this visual because it lacks this option.
I would really like to know how you achieved the sub level dropdown list for a hierarchy slicer using a fake dropdown with bookmarks
Can you please show me how?
@elaj I don't think it is possible, if parent level is selected, it will select all the child values.
