Simulation of demand prediction

We produce components for the our industri. A component consist of 10-100 partnumbers. We are able to predict, when components are up for repair, but the issue is to predict the demand for individual parts. When a component is repaired some part are replaced and some are reused. We call the replacement frequency "k-factor" and I might set this to 50% initial.
I want to give the business users at slider, where they can simulate the effect on the demand predition for the Partnumber if the change k-factor. In the first round I don't want to update the k-factor in the database - I only want to simulate the effect in the demand prediction. The user should then have the possibility to commit a change to the database, but I think I can do that with PowerApps.

I looking for suggestions on how to do the simulation on the demand prediction, when k-factor is change.
