Simple Timeline

Hi, 

Is there a way to make a simple timeline similar to the below?

Easy enough if you ONLY have 1 or 2 dates. But need more than that then sadly, it's impossible. Microsoft only appears to be targeting financial reporting and is completely ignoring tracking timelines and milestone dates such as those that would usefull in tracking say, a global pandemic!
