Show top bar graph categories with scroll bar

Hello!

I have the below bar graph:

Would it be possible to show only the top 5 bars on the visual with the possibility of scrolling down to all the other categories?

I know about the topN filter, but I don't want to filter out any of the bars. I just want to show the most important ones at first glance, but give the possibility of scrolling down and see the less important/frequent categories.

I don't want to simply shrink the visual, the point would be to make all the bars bigger with a scroll bar. I couldn't find the option to change the width of the bars in the format options.

Is that doable somehow in power BI?

Thanks a lot!

Hi, @Anonymous ;

You could set the bar width in here.

Here is an updated solution:

  1. Open Your Bar Chart Visualization:

    • First, create or open your bar chart visualization in Power BI.
  2. Access X-Axis Settings:

    • Click on your bar chart visual to select it.
    • Go to the Format tab in the Visualizations pane.
  3. Adjust Category Width:

    • Within the X-axis settings, look for options related to Minimum Category Width and Inner Padding.
    • These settings allow you to tweak the size of the bars:
      • Minimum Category Width: Determines the minimum width of each category (bar).
      • Inner Padding: Controls the spacing between adjacent bars
