Hi @Anonymous ,

Based on your description, I have created this sample table:

sales.png

Create this measure:

Next year forecast =
IF (
    ISFILTERED ( 'Calendar'[Date].[Year] ),
    CALCULATE (
        SUM ( 'Table'[Sales] ),
        FILTER (
            ALL ( 'Table' ),
            'Table'[Date].[Year]
                = SELECTEDVALUE ( 'Calendar'[Date].[Year] ) + 1
        )
    ),
    "Please select a year to forecast"
)

Attached a sample file in the below, hopes to help you.

@Anonymous ,You can use year ahead measure

example

Year ahead Sales = CALCULATE(SUM(Sales[Sales Amount]),dateadd('Date'[Date],1,Year))

next year

Next year Sales = CALCULATE(SUM(Sales[Sales Amount]),nextyear('Date'[Date]))

Next  YTD Sales = CALCULATE(SUM(Sales[Sales Amount]),DATESYTD(dateadd('Date'[Date],1,Year),"12/31"))
