Show multiple variables simultaneously

Hello,

I would like to be able to select multiple variables simultaneously to see each separately on a line column graph. As it is right now, I can see it as the sum when I select more than one. I believe it is because I imported my data as a skinny table (all variable in the same column). From my understanding to fullfil my task, I have to rebuid the orifginal file (build each variable a separate column) or there is a workaround? Please kindly advise.
