Show items with no data in selected date period

Hi All,

I want to show the company name with a zero count no matter which date I select. 

You can see in the SQL that companies have a null for the date;

Then when I select the same dates in the slicer with 'show no data' option selected the company names do not appear?

all dates selected, 1st financial appears

1st financial appears with all dates

select 2018 1st financial disappears

What else needs to be done?

You may have a look at this video about function 'Show items with no data'. You may not get the blank date value by slicer if you don't select the 'blank' in slicer. I would suggest you may split your table into two tables("Blank value" table and "other values" table) like the post thread as below.
