Show data point as a table option missing

Hello everyone,

I created a Report for my Organization and until today, people using the report had the ability to right click on a Value and select the option to "see data point as a table" but for some reason, that option isn't showing up anymore.

When I'm editing the report on the Power BI app the option is still visible (as shown in the picture below)

However, when I publish the report on my workspace (I tried eliminating the report and publishing it again) the option to see data point as a table disappears (as shown below)

This option was avaliable until today and I haven't changed anything on the report. I know the option disappears when you use Measures instead of column values, but in this case, all the metrics are column values.

The final result when the option is showing up should be something like this:

Does anyone have any idea on how to fix this?

Thanks in advance

Hi, @Anonymous

I wonder if there are some settings in 'Admin portal'-'Tenant settings' modified. Generally, Show Data  is both available in Power BI service and Power BI Desktop. Is the feature 'See Records' working properly? For further information, please refer to the document . Do pay attention to the considerations and limitations.

Best Regards

Allan

Hello @v-alq-msft

When I go to admin portal I don't see any options and there's a message saying Power BI Service is unresponsive in some regions (not my region though).

Can this be related to my problem?

Thanks in advance

Hi, @Anonymous

Your account needs to be marked as a Global Admin, within Office 365 or Azure Active Directory (Azure AD), or have been assigned the Power BI service administrator role, to get access to the Power BI admin portal. For futher information, you may refer to the official document .

Best Regards

Allan

Hi @Anonymous ,

Check the online report if the export option is selected as summarize date or none:

I already checked that @MFelix and the options selected are the same as you show in the picture.

I have already seen that topic but none of the solutions helped fixing my problem.

Do you know if is it possible that the option is not showing because I'm using a "free account"?

Thanks once again

Same Situation.

"Show data point as a table" is available through Power BI Desktop but not Online.

It was working yesterday, and i didn't change any Access settings or Account Permissions.

I'm thinking it's a bug.

Hi @Anonymous ,

That can be an option because some things were change to the tenant so users with free accounts don't have all the functionalities of the pro account wich are based on tenants.
