Hello everyone,
i have been struggling quite some time to show text/string data in a Matrix environment as there's a need for a pivot that has instead of numbers, text data.
As you can see from my print screens I can only show the first, the last but nothing in between and unfortunately as I am working on Analysis Services I can't play with any power query, only dax..
Any ideas?
Thnx in advance

Matrix is used to show summarized data, to show all value. You need to also add the Description column in the Rows.

@Anonymous
There are only 2 rows in the sample, so I don't see what do you mean by between. The first and last only appear in the row total, both description data already shown in the matrix, PGK=10 and PGK=25, you only have one row because the item number is the same.
If you turn off the subtotals you get:
If that doesn't help, please provide a sample with a few more rows, and show us the expected output.

Ok, sorry for the sample it was not that much explanatory,
Item Number Operating Unit Item Description
910.A EU PGK=10
910.A NOL PGK=25
910.A EU PGK=25
910.B EU PGK=25
910.A EU PGK=35

Makes better sense along with some format processing, in order to hide item description so that it looks a bit better.!Thanks for the idea
well, the user expects specific column names and specific row names, as in a pivot
Could yo share a sample data with me?
consider that it is on Analysis Services so there can be no modification in power query, only dax (as far as I know)
Thanks!

910.A EU PGK=10
910.A NOL PGK=25
