Hello,
I'm working with a Power BI matrix, and I'm looking to group rows based on their IDs. However, I'd like to display the associated names instead of the IDs themselves. Is there a method to achieve this?
Thank you!
As Idrissshatila suggested,
place name first and on second place the ID.
Through the ID names are displayed separately then.
Otherwise show pls your target result.
What do you want to see?
@sergej_og @Idrissshatila I am targeting to see something like this; it should group by id but it should show name instead of id
this is how I grouped rows:
@ltns , then add the ID and the name and drill down the visual to show both.

Displaying the ID is not the preferred choice; I simply need to display the name. Is there a workaround or tip to achieve this?
@ltns , if as you said the name is not unique then you need a column that make it show the unique value without aggregating the data.

I have added id end of the name column and hided it in matrix but now it shows "..." end of the line. Also it shows id in tooltip when cursor on that line
Hello @ltns ,
replace the name column instead of the ID column.

name column is not unique, then it aggregates all name columns with same names
