Hello everyone,
I'm currently using Power BI Desktop and working with various data tables. Among these, there's a table with a "Date" column that I using as a slicer to filter other visuals and data, as shown in the attached screenshot.
Upon publishing the report to Power BI Service and conducting daily checks to validate the data, I've noticed that the Date slicer retains the last selected value. However, my goal is for it to dynamically update to the most recent date available within the slicer. For instance, as shown in the screenshot, the latest date is 21.02.2024. I expect that by tomorrow, the slicer should automatically update to 22.02.2024.
I've tried to apply filters to the slicer and did some research for a solution, but all the information I found relates to handling dates in a standalone table, not as a column among other data.
I would greatly appreciate any assistance in resolving this issue. Thank you in advance.
Try the following step:
Select the slicer, and in the Format pane, under Visual > Slicer settings > Options, change the Style to Relative Date.
Best Regards,
Jayleny

Thank you very much for your response. It serves as a good alternative, but the issue is that the individuals I'm designing this for are used to using the 'Between' date slicer.
