Show Items With No data Not Displaying Column With Data

I am accessing a SharePoint list were

Table 1 has the following columns – ResID, firstName, lastName, manager

Table 2 has the following columns – ResID, Role

Since it is not a SQL backend I did the Show Items with no Data

When I do this Any row that has no role does not display the manager even when the data is there on Table 1.

Resource ID

firstName

lastName

manager

role

1

John

Doe

ABC

Tech Support

2

Jane

Doe

(does not show up but in the backend it has a value)

3

Henry

Ford

BBB

Teacher

Has anyone faced this issue and can someone help resolve?

Thanks, E

@eakjohnson,

Recreate the visual and drag fields in the right order. You may use DAX Studio to capture queries.

I have never come across this before but had the same problem and the solution worked.  does this mean that all columns should be grouped according to their data table @v-chuncz-msft ?
