Short Data Month in a Matrix

Hi guys! 😀

I know the topic has been request multiple times, but all the soluzione proposed are not working in my case, so i try yo get a little help.

I have this matrix:

Parameters

as you can see the month name is all written. I want to short it but changing the format of the column NTRMonth does not change the visualitation of the month name. 

Any suggestions?

Create a month no column = 

Month No =

MONTH('Date'[Date])
and sort the month column by month no column

But my column is not a Month Column, is a date column..if i create a column as you suggest, I think I lose hierarchy with the years..

Well, maybe is not th best way, but i find a solution:

- i create a hiararchy with yesr and month as text column;

- i sorted the month text column by an order column calculate in Power Query from the original Month Data.
