Shop Floor Mapping

I have a colleague that uses Tableau for mapping their shop floor (using .jpeg or .pgn format) on a heat map or scatter plot to show bubbles that indicate amount of problems in each area.  They can also zoom into each area and see the same thing on the associated equipment.  I have looked on Power BI marketplace and have not been able to find anything similiar to this.  The closest thing I can find in Power BI is the geographical mapping, but I haven't seen any of these maps that allow you to attach custom mapping, such as a shop floor.  Does Power BI have this kind of feature anywhere or could anyone assist me in developing such an application.

Hi @dkleeman,

From your description, I suggest you to ues the Visio Visual to have a try:

https://appsource.microsoft.com/en-us/product/power-bi-visuals/WA104381132?src=office&tab=Overview

It could represent Power BI data on business process workflows or on a real-world layout like floor plan, industrial layout or on an organization chart.

Hope it could help you.

I am trying to use Visio, but it keeps asking me to sign in.  When I click on "Sign In", it does nothing and I am not able to view my diagram.

Hi @dkleeman,

Could you have tried add this visual in Power BI Desktop:
