Sharepoint Folder Connection / Excel Collaboration

Hi,

I am trying to connect to set of excel files placed in Sharepoint folder. However if I give a complete path of the folder it does not work.

When I try with base URL i.e. without folder details, it works however lists all files. e.g. I have another folder with images in one folder and excel files in another folder. When I connect to root, I see all files including all images. That's not what I want.

How can I provide a path to actual folder instead of base or root folder in Sharepoint?

What is the best mechanism to have excel in the shared environment. Tried Onedrive however it work only in case of Onedrive for business. Suggest me better alternatives to work with excel in collaborated environment. TIA.
